Last weekend, we loaded up and had our first extended trip down to LG!!! Of course this trip was going to be an eventful one, will there be one that isn't?!?! Probably not=) I was a little nervous on how Cate would do being that we juussssst got her sleeping well in her crib, and sometimes napping in there, but she ended up doing GREAT!
We headed out of town Friday afternoon, stopped by my parent's house so Cate could tell them hello,
then headed up to Matt's parent's house where we had a yummy fajita dinner to celebrate Jojo's birthday, which was actually on Saturday the 9th! That morning we went for a walk, then just hung out and relaxed all day, and that evening we went to Charley's 1st birthday party!!! Then Sunday we headed back to my parent's house where we had lunch and Cate got to see her Great-grandfather Popo for the second time. All he wanted was to hold her, see her smile, and get a four generations pic. Check, check, and CHECK!!!;) Matt had to come back to ATX that afternoon for work and school, boo, but someone has to right?!?! Later that evening my Aunt, Uncle and cousin were coming thru town on their way home from Dallas, so they stopped by to see Cate again. She was full of grins and giggles for them=) Monday we hung out with Pops, (my dad) all morning, went and met my mom, Gigi, for lunch, then went back to visit Jojo for a few hours since she was off! Later that evening, my Nonie, Cate's Great-grandmother came over and we had a yummy dinner, yet again! Tuesday we hung out in the morning, went to lunch, then Cate's Gigi and JoJo got to go show her off to their friends and work peeps! FUN FUN FUN times! Mom and Dad brought us back Tuesday evening, and let me say, lil miss was worn out! She slept the ENTIRE way home, no moving, not ONE peep! And even though she was only a "little" spoiled upon our return home, she adjusted very well and you wouldn't even know we were gone and out of our normal routine for 5 days! YES! Way to go baby girl!!!

I wish we would have gotten more pics on our trip down, it's hard to remember to always bust out the camera for every smile, laugh, event, person holding her, etc... THANK GOODNESS for iPhone!=)
