The mall playground is FUN

This past weekend we/I needed to pick up a few things from the mall.  I was going to go myself, but it ended up being a family outing, and Cate had a blast playing at the nice little enclosed kids play area...

Riding in style

So our last trip to the grocery store, we caved, and Cate got to ride in style!

















She loved driving around the store...

I'm sure I will regret this decision to have such a fun outing, because next time we go to the store, Cate will probably only want to ride in style... not like pushing/maneuvering the cars cart, Cate, and a FULL load of groceries is hard...right?!? Daddy may be going shopping with us more often...;)

While we were away...Bernie played!

While we were in Rockport, Bernie "vacationed" with Jojo and Grandpa Royce...and well...to say he enjoyed himself would be an understatement. Just see for yourself...

They went to the local garbage sales...

Rode out to the farm...

Went for a ride on the four wheeler...

Supervised and played co-pilot...

Went to the deer lease...

Did some hunting...

And of course didn't miss a meal...

All of this made for one tired weenie! He needed a vacation from his vacation when we got back...don't we all!?! Such the life!

Trip to Texas State Aquarium

While down in Rockport, we ventured over to the Texas State Aquarium. It was more like the "zoo" at the aquarium because it was insanely busy, but we had fun nonetheless, and as you will see, Cate's favorite exhibit was the dolphins!

 The nice, AC area where you could watch the dolphins swim was perfect! I think Cate could have sat there for hours and watched them...

We had a BLAST at the beach...AGAIN! Rockport 2011!

On Labor day weekend, we headed down to the coast for another beach trip with my family! We all had a blast, but I think Cate had the most fun!  There was always something new for her to explore, birds and people to watch, and grandparents, auntie ash, and other family members to keep her HIGHLY entertained!;)

Cate was SUPER interested in playing in the sand. We took her buckets and shovels...she could have played there for hours!!! If we would have known that, we would have brought the pop up shade and set up shop for a few hours! Oh well, next year we know!

This sand is SO fun guys!!
