Really, WHAT are you thinking????

So I have seen a few things, bizarre, mind baffeling and unreal, lately that has really urked me made me ask myself, Really, what the heck are you thinking lady?? This past weekend we were on our way to Chuys to eat, and I pulled up to a red light, just so happen to glance over to the car next to me, and what do I see?? A woman holding a baby in the back seat.... with the carrier sitting right next to her!!! And no, Baby wasn't crying, she was just holding him, he seemed content as could be, but seriously??? For what possible reason would you take a baby out of a carrier while you are moving down the flippin feeder road to the freeway???
The second thing I saw was almost along the same lines??? I was driving thru a neighborhood, and saw a minivan turn right down a street, as it was turning I saw the sliding passenger door was opening, and the woman was still driving...but that's not the least of it, there was a boy probably 7-8 years old that was WALKING AROUND INSIDE!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! She was probably only going 20mph, but still!!! What is wrong with these people??????????

"Some kind of somethin"

Well after 14 days I finally feel I am 98% back to my normal self! YAY! ( the 2% of not is for the coughing fits I wake myself (and Matt) with once I fall asleep=( I went to the the doctor this past Tuesday because I had had enough and was tired of not feeling well and was running a 99.5. Seems like there are a lot of things going around, obviously the flu and the HINI, but there is also this thing whatever I had and I have talked to a few people and ladies from church and such and they or a family member have had the same thing!!! It's like a cold, but it lasts longer than the common cold and just makes you sooooo tired and miserable, AND if you saw the horns game today, seems Colt McCoy has "it" too!! Although he referred to it as "some kind of somethin". LOL! (if you didn't see the clip, he was being interviewed and said he was sick this past week and the anchor asked him what was he sick with and he said, "I don't know, some kind of somethin!") Which is funny because the Doc did confirm I had "some sort of virus," aka "some kind of somethin." She tested for strep A ,which was neg, did a culture for B, and sent me on my way with a Zpack. Oh Zpack, I heart you so!! So GET A ZPACK MCCOY! Get rid of your "some kind of somethin" and feel better soon!!! Go HORNS!

Join us for the Buddy Walk!!!

Won't you please join me in supporting Down syndrome awareness and research by being a part of Team Presley at the 10th Annual Buddy Walk? It's Oct. 25 from 12-4 @ Reunion ranch! The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome. It is a wonderful, heartwarming event in which thousands of people around the world participate each year. For those who don't know, I have an amazing 27-year-old sister with down syndrome, Ashley, and am currently nannying for the most precious 4-year-old girl with down syndrome, Presley Ross, and have a HUGE heart for individuals with ds. It has been and is a true joy to get to know the Ross family over the past 3 years and spend a lot of time lately with Miss Presley, and her sister Abbey of course (I watch both of them)!! This will be Team Presley's 4th year to do the walk and we NEED walkers!!!! So please sign up!!! You can save $5 by signing up early online. See the flyer below, and SIGN UP and/or donate for a great cause!! It's a FUN event at a great venue, with TONS of activities for the kiddos and adults! If you have any questions check out http://www.dsact.com/. or feel free to contact me thru fb, my blog. See you there!
