We finally got to meet Emeline...two months ago=)

My good friend Ashley and her husband Kris, adopted a beautiful baby girl back in June. You can read about the their story and His perfect timing here. A couple months ago, Cate and I made the trip to meet Miss Emeline, and she is the most precious baby girl, and Cate LOVES her so much. Cate was so sweet with Em, kissing on her, loving on her, giving her her bottles, and wanting to "dance" with her. It melted our hearts. I wish we lived closer so we could see them more often. (Soon enough right Ash?=)

My heart is so happy for Ashley and Kris, so happy that He chose Ashley and Kris to be parents to such a sweet little miracle, so happy that this little girl will be blessed and loved beyond measure....

Cate's two year stats:
Height: 37 inches, upper 95%tile
Weight: 32 lbs, upper 95%tile, (and she got on our scale at home the other day because she thought it was fun, and it said 33...so two years and two months, she is 33lbs, Lord, help my back...)

I was going to list out all the things she is doing now, but that's near impossible.  She is doing so much, she is so strong, so smart, and just SO amazing. I'll just leave it at that! Our hearts are full...

Cate turns TWO!

I can't believe I finally got around to documenting Cate's second birthday...it only took two months!=) This year we decided to do a simple low key birthday celebration with her friends, and met at Amy's Ice Cream. It was fast and furious, because of course, the one day we decide to have something outside, where the kids can roam freely and play, it decides to monsoon...in  Texas, in JULY! What?!? None the less, we got to enjoy ice cream, cupcakes, friends and fun, just before it decided to pour...

Cate was really into "birthdayyyyy" this year, and has associated birthdays with cupcakes and cake=) She knows she is "twoooo" years old and loved all of her gifts everyone, so thank you all very much!!!
