Finally, getting around to posting the about Tahoe trip!! (only a month late=)
Anyways...What better way to celebrate your 30th than to take a trip?
Matt chose the perfect place to celebrate his birthday, I must say' ... LOVIN' IT!!!
on our first full day there we decided to take a road trip around the lake, stopping to take pics and take in the views at the overlooks...
stopping to checkout the forest, look for bears, and love some trees...
the weather was PERFECT while we were there. it was about 17 or so each morning and depending on where we were it would be 35-45 during the day...there was some snow on the ground, but not much, which was good, because if there was, or the weather would have been bad, we would not have been able to see any of these beautiful sites!!

we hiked TWO miles down a trail to lake level.... where we saw some more trees...
and a castle...
hugged more trees...
and walked out on the pier...
